The terroir of Château Gaudin is exceptional thanks to its location on gravelly hilltops. The vines have an average age of 45 years. The harvest and sorting are done manually and the winemaking is traditional. The Château Gaudin grape variety is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Carmenère, Malbec and Petit Verdot; which are ancient grape varieties, this allows the castle to bring its own taste signature.
The average age of our vines is 45 years, and is renewed by systematic supplementation. Knowledge of our vineyard allows us to preserve traditional know-how, but also to perfect it and innovate thanks to the new perspective brought by each new generation. We invite you to come and visit us directly at the castle for a tour of the cellar and a free tasting of our different wines. We sell our red wine directly on the property and we deliver throughout France.
