Maison Róbert Wessman

About Maison Róbert Wessman

Maison Wessman is a dynamic and ambitious wine estate based in South-West France, founded by Icelandic entrepreneur Róbert Wessman and his wife, Ksenia. Though Wessman is widely known for his leadership in the pharmaceutical industry, he has passionately applied that same vision and drive to winemaking, acquiring historic terroirs and building a truly international wine project.

At the heart of Maison Wessman is Château de Saint-Cernin, a restored 12th-century estate in Bergerac (Périgord) where high-plateau limestone soils and meticulous viticulture produce wines of depth and finesse. The estate has since expanded with the acquisition of Vignoble des Verdots and vineyards in Limoux, allowing the brand to craft a broad portfolio of red, white, and sparkling wines that reflect the diversity of these French terroirs.
