Vintage Description

On the nose: rich aromas of candied apple, praline, burnt almond, and a light dried fruit note (thanks to the sherry-cask finish). On the palate: full-bodied and vibrant; initial sweetness of candied apple and roasted cereal grain, mid-palate reveals toasted almond, caramelised nuts, faint dried cherry, and subtle spice. The finish is long, with burnt almond lingering, a touch of oak drive, and a clean, refined fade.

Production Notes:

This is a straight American single malt whiskey, made from 100% malted barley sourced in New York State. Aged a minimum of two years in new American oak barrels, then finished in hand-selected ex-sherry casks for at least six months. This finishing step lends additional sweetness and depth (sherry cask influence). The higher proof gives more body and complexity.

Serving Suggestions:

Best enjoyed neat at room temperature, in a Glencairn or copita to appreciate the layered aroma and flavor. A drop of spring water may help unlock further depth. This is a premium sipping whiskey — designate for slower enjoyment rather than casual mixing.
