Our Team

Javier was bitten by the wine bug after taking an introductory wine course while still at Lehigh University, where he graduated with a business degree.  After working in finance for 7 years, he came to his senses and decided to pursue his passion for wine as a career . He earned his WSET Advanced Certification and spent the next 14 years running the wine program at a large retailer in northern New Jersey.  Wine trips around the world to Napa, Sonoma, California’s Central Coast, Italy, Spain, & Germany have broadened his perspective and palate.  His love for history and curious nature have always kept him learning while maintaining a fun, non-pretentious approach to wine. Now, on the wholesale side of the industry, he’s excited to grow his relationships and share his passion for wine & spirits with Vintage Imports customers. Outside of the world of wine, he loves cooking, cycling, reading, and spending time with his wife and family that recently expanded to include two beautiful little girls.
