The Estate

Albino Rocca is a wine producer based in Piedmont, in the northwest of Italy. The estate is particularly known for its Barbaresco wines based largely on the Nebbiolo grape variety, but Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese, Chardonnay and Moscato also play their part. Giacomo Rocca first laid the foundations for the estate in the 1940s when he began making and selling wine from the family’s vineyards in Barbaresco.

Wine Making

Grown in limestone and clay soil with presence of sand. Grapes are grown on 17 year old Cabernet Franc vines, Nebbiolo grapes are grown on vines that are 20 to 50 years old. Aged in stainless steel tanks.
