Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and plum are layered with hints of licorice and mineral notes. The palate reveals rich dark fruit flavors supported by spice and earthy undertones. Full-bodied with firm tannins, the wine displays depth and structure. Balanced acidity adds freshness and energy. The finish is long and mineral-driven with lingering dark fruit.

The Estate

Buil & Giné is deeply rooted in Priorat, one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions known for steep vineyards and slate-rich soils. The Giné Giné bottling is crafted to showcase the intensity and mineral-driven character of Priorat wines while remaining approachable in style. The winery blends tradition with modern techniques to express the unique terroir of the region.

Wine Making

Fruit is harvested from hillside vineyards planted in Priorat’s distinctive llicorella slate soils. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in oak barrels to enhance structure and integration. The final style highlights depth, minerality, and balance.

Food Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, braised beef, or roasted game meats. It also complements rich Mediterranean dishes and aged cheeses.
