Vintage Description

This wine opens with a pale yellow hue and inviting aromas of fresh orchard fruit—pear and apple feature strongly—alongside white currant and subtle tropical pineapple or banana tones. On the palate it’s light in body but lifted by a crisp, bright acidity; a smooth, clean entry gives way to juicy fruit and a clean, mineral finish.

Viura grape blend.

The Estate

Cune Blanco is made with a selection of the best Viura vines from the sub-areas of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, which combine ideal characteristics for growing vines.

Wine Making

In production, the Viura grapes were soft-pressed and fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature, then bottled young to preserve freshness and reflect the cool nights and calcareous soils of Rioja.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with light seafood (such as grilled white fish or shrimp), fresh salads with citrus vinaigrette, goat cheese, and spring vegetables. Because it’s clean and lively, it also works well as an aperitif: serve well-chilled (around 8–10 °C)
