This bright Zinfandel opens with aromas of baked plum, baking spice, white pepper and dusty earth on the nose. It is plump and zesty on the palate with licorice, black cherry and notes of black tea. Medium-bodied with round tannins, the finish is rich and intense.

The Estate

As a pioneering producer and winegrower of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, DeLoach Vineyards has been experimenting with and perfecting the best combinations of soil, rootstock and clones for over three decades.

Wine Making

One of the oldest remaining vineyards in the Olivet Rd region of the Russian River Valley, Saitone was planted in 1895 by Antonio Saitone and is now farmed by Ulises Valdez.
