Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, and cherry are layered with notes of vanilla, cedar, and baking spice. The palate reveals concentrated dark fruit flavors balanced by subtle oak influence. Medium to full-bodied with polished tannins, the wine offers both structure and smoothness. Fresh acidity provides lift and keeps the wine balanced. The finish is long and elegant with lingering spice and dark fruit notes.
El Pedrosal is produced by the Pérez Pascuas family of Bodegas Hermanos Pérez Pascuas (Viña Pedrosa), one of the founding estates of Ribera del Duero. Located in the village of Pedrosa de Duero, the family has cultivated vineyards for generations and is widely respected for producing structured, age-worthy wines. Their philosophy focuses on estate viticulture and traditional methods that emphasize depth, balance, and regional identity.
Grapes are sourced from estate vineyards planted with Tempranillo in Ribera del Duero’s limestone-rich soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately 12 months in accordance with Crianza classification requirements. The style reflects traditional Ribera del Duero structure with balanced oak integration.
Pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, grilled beef, or pork tenderloin. It also complements hearty Spanish dishes such as stews, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses.
