On the nose stone fruits, golden delicious apple, and pears with a touch of herbs and meadow. The Karmeliterberg shows itself to be very clear and typical of the peppery variety; spicy on the palate. Persistent finish.

The Estate

Weingut Hermann Moser is run by Martin and his wife Carmen Moser, the 26th generation of the family producing wine from the family vineyards. The estate is nearly 400 years old and is located in the village of Rohrendorf in the Kremstal region in Austria.

Wine Making

The vineyards cover 19 hectares and are the best vineyards from Rohrendorf. 85% of the surface is planted with white varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller and Pinot Blanc, the remainder with Zweigelt.
