Reviews

Pale lemon-gold colour and lively nose. On the palate, the wine is fruit-driven with a well-balanced acidity and a refreshing minerality: lime, lemon, flint, with a touch of white blossom. The finish is elegant, with a smooth texture.

The Estate

Winemaker and only son of Jeanne-Marie, Mr. Benoît POINT married Jeanne Henriette THOMAS (1904/1970) on 02/16/1924. He is a winegrower by birth. He helped his mother long before he was a man. Mr. Benoît POINT was incorporated into the alpine hunters for the war of 1914, then returned, safe and sound, to the house in 1918 to work on the estate.

Wine Making

Its favorite appellation is Pouilly Fuissé in white, for its pale gold color, its minerality and its notes of fleur-de-lis mixed with delicate aromas of hazelnut. With a perfect balance, its hold in the mouth is ideal for her! In red, MADAME Géraldine POINT has a particular talent for selecting the best grapes from the plots of Chorey les Beaune or Fixin.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with pork, rich fish such as salmon and tuna, shellfish, and mild or soft cheeses.

"White grapefruit and lime flavors are fresh and concentrated in this medium-bodied, refreshing dry white. Vinified in stainless steel, it’s pristine and sprightly in fruit quality, finishing on a subtly earthen, stony note. The wine is ready now but should hold through 2025."
