Vintage Description

The Pinot Noir opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, and red plum, accented by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with bright red fruit flavors and a soft, silky texture. Gentle tannins and balanced acidity keep the wine fresh and highly drinkable. Hints of baking spice and earth add complexity without heaviness. The finish is smooth, clean, and fruit-driven.

The Estate

Pacific Palisades is a contemporary French wine brand focused on crafting approachable, fruit-forward wines from premium vineyards across southern France. The Pays d’Oc designation allows for stylistic freedom while maintaining quality and consistency. The brand blends Old World sourcing with a polished, modern drinking style aimed at everyday enjoyment.

Wine Making

Grapes are sourced from select Pays d’Oc vineyards that benefit from warm days and cooling Mediterranean influences, ideal for preserving Pinot Noir’s freshness. Fermentation is conducted in stainless steel to retain pure fruit expression. A short period of neutral oak or oak alternatives may be used to add subtle roundness without overpowering the varietal character. The overall approach prioritizes balance, softness, and approachability.

Food Suggestions

This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, grilled salmon, or pork tenderloin. Its lighter body makes it an excellent match for mushroom-based dishes, lentil stews, or beet salads. It also works well with soft cheeses and casual bistro fare, making it a versatile option for many menus.
