A beautiful medium amber color with inviting notes of dried apricot and orange peel. Flavors of dried peach and baking spices, complemented by soft yet firm tannins, leading to a long and elegant finish. The mouthfeel is fuller-bodied with a structured texture, characteristic of extended skin contact wines.
Teliani Valley, established in 1997 on the grounds of a historic 19th-century estate in Teliani village, is one of Georgia’s leading wineries. They produce over 2 million bottles annually, combining ancient Georgian winemaking traditions with modern techniques. The ‘Amber Blend’ is part of their ‘Winery 97’ series, showcasing the rich heritage of Georgian viticulture.
The wine undergoes a six-month skin maceration, a traditional Georgian method where white grapes ferment with their skins, imparting the distinctive amber hue and tannic structure. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s fresh and vibrant character.
Best enjoyed slightly chilled, around 59–62°F (15–17°C). This versatile wine pairs excellently with poultry dishes, braised pork, creamy pasta, and can also complement spicy or umami-rich foods like Dan Dan noodles or Massaman curry.
