Tasting Notes
Technical Details

Pretty floral notes and intense pomerol-like aromas are the first impressions. The 2017 Trione Henry’s blend is definitely more right bank in character. This Bordeaux-style blend is rich and inviting. Its soft and velvety mouthfeel with firm tannin and acidity will ensure a long cellar life.

35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 13% Petit Verdot, 13% Cabernet Franc, & 5% Malbec grape blend.
This wine contains allergens, sulfites.
The Estate

Three generations, four decades, five ranches — our family is deeply rooted in the Sonoma County wine industry. Dedicated farmers for forty years, brothers Mark and Vic Trione own and cultivate close to 600 vineyard acres in three prime Sonoma County appellations: Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley and Sonoma Coast.

Wine Making

The grapes were all hand-harvested, sorted and sent directly to small open top fermentation tanks. The fermentations were done using a unique cap irrigation device that brings in air as the free-run wine is being circulated over the cap during the peak of fermentation. This technique ensures the binding of tannins with the color compounds found in the grapes as well as maximizing proper yeast cell health and viability.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with beef, poultry, lamb, deer, and venison dishes.
