Vintage Description

Aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, and plum are layered with hints of baking spice, forest floor, and subtle floral notes. The Estate

Trisaetum is a family-owned winery founded by James Frey, dedicated to producing terroir-driven wines from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir highlights one of the smallest and most distinct AVAs in the region, known for its marine sedimentary soils and structured wines. The winery emphasizes precision, balance, and site expression in its small-lot production.

Wine Making

Fruit is sourced from vineyards within the Ribbon Ridge AVA, known for its well-drained marine sedimentary soils. Fermentation occurs in small lots with careful extraction to preserve aromatics and structure. The wine is aged in French oak barrels to enhance complexity and integration. The style emphasizes site specificity, balance, and aging potential.

Food Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with roasted duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom-based dishes. It also complements pork tenderloin, herb-roasted chicken, and earthy, savory cuisine.
