Bright and citrusy, with fantastic natural acidity and just a hint of bubbles. Fruit-forward with green apple and grapefruit aromas. Produced with Arinto, Trajadura & Loureiro grape varieties (typical of the vinho verde region) and at 9.5% alcohol, this sustainably-farmed wine is fun in a bottle.
This wine is produced from grapes traditionally used in the Vinho Verde demarcated region, especially in the Sousa sub- region.
With a little sparkle, this Vinho Verde is light and fresh. At less than one bar of CO2 pressure, they do not quite qualify as semi-sparkling wines but do have a definite pétillance. Produced by the recognized winemaker, Carlos Teixeira (Quinta da Lixa), the SOL REAL selections are both fun and gourmand.
Pairs well with shellfish, vegetarian dishes, and appetizers or snacks.
