This blend has depth, balance and big flavors. The nose evokes black cherry pie, tar, licorice, black olives, vanilla, pencil shavings, and notes of chocolate. On the palate, it bursts with fresh blackberries, mixed berry cobbler, toasted walnuts, and chocolate-covered cherries. This wine has great texture that ultimately finishes with round, silky smooth tannins.

The Estate

Whitehall Lane is a small, family owned winery in Napa Valley’s historic Rutherford appellation. We grow 157,411 grape vines in our eight estate vineyards including the Leonardini Vineyard in St. Helena. We are dedicated to growing and making the finest Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Estate wines, using Napa Green certified and sustainable practices.

Wine Making

After fermentation and pressing, the 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 50% new French oak and 50% neutral oak for 20 months. The final blend is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, 1% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
