We source some amazing Washington State wine barrels. The notes and flavor of this whiskey give the complexity of a Manhattan and the accessibility of a sipping whiskey all in one. The complexity added by the additional time in fine wine barrels has paved way for the connoisseur to find Bing and black cherry, bittersweet chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, and the butterscotch we all have grown to love about Bourbon.
2Bar sources all of their wine barrels from Sparkman Cellars located in Woodinville WA. Using a blend of bold red wine barrels imparts the mouthfeel with fine wine notes and tannin to this stunning Bourbon.
The spirit is aged initially for 3 years and then an additional 9 months in wine barrels.
Featuring a 6 grain mashbill of 60% Corn, 6% Wheat, and a blend of 4 different malted Barleys making up the remaining 34%. All grains were locally grown by the distillery.
