Displaying a vivid magenta blush with salmon hues and bright clarity, this rosé offers intense aromas of fresh berries and lush, ripe melon. Upon tasting, deeper notes of tangerine, plump strawberry and hibiscus persist with subtle spicy hints of cardamom and fresh herbs. The dry character of this wine is balanced with the intensely fruity and floral elements, as well as the crisp and refreshing texture.

Wine Making

Grapes were harvested Aug. 29 at night at 22 brix to maintain natural acidity and convert to lower alcohol. Grapes were immediately pressed upon arrival at the winery and only the free run and light press juice was used for rose. The juice was settled cold and racked away from heavy lees. The juice was cool fermented at 55-60 deg F to full dryness, then chilled to cold stabilize and bottled early in the new year to maintain freshness.
