Sardinia is a special place where the terroir of sea and mountains coexist. This Cannonau is a great expression of younger vines displaying vibrant strawberry and raspberry aromas, delicately layered floral notes with a touch of white pepper. Full-bodied and intensely ruby red with an ideal balance of alcohol, acidity and gentle tannins.
From the beginning, the objective of Cantina Castiadas has been to produce quality wines, obtained according to ancient-regional traditions enhanced by viticulture which still today has Cannonau as its most prized product and which only in this part of Sardinia boasts the sub-denomination called “Capo Ferrato”.
A real company innovation, which enhances the characteristic of the vine which, with its acidic part, lends itself very well to sparkling wine: cannonau vinified in white and refermented, for a fresh, fun and ready-to-drink sparkling wine.
Pairs well with meat or fish starters, fried foods, first courses, and pizza.
