Reviews

Pale garnet with brick-orange hues, typical of Nebbiolo wines. The nose offers a bouquet of dried roses, violets, and red cherries, complemented by notes of truffle, fennel, and licorice. With age, it may develop smoky, earthy aromas such as leather and tar. On the palate, expect flavors of tart cherry, raspberry, and subtle herbal undertones. The wine exhibits firm tannins and bright acidity, providing structure and balance. As it matures, the tannins soften, and the wine gains complexity with earthy and savory notes.

Nebbiolo grape blend.

Aromas of forest floor, truffle and black tea dominate the nose of this Barbaresco. The palate showcases flavors of wild sour cherries as woodsy notes mixed with incense provide a welcomed contrast, while dusty tannins scream for a warm bowl of pasta. Drink now–2035. — Jeff Porter
