CHÂTEAU HAUT BICOU IS A FAMILY VINEYARD of 13 hectares. Its origin dates back to the 19th century. Our plots, with a density of 4,500 vines per hectare, are cultivated organically. The clay-limestone TERROIR of the hillsides produces structured, round and balanced wines. The traditional GRAPES of the region have been preserved, such as Merlot Noir for the suppleness of its fruitiness, Cabernet Sauvignon for the freshness and liveliness, Cabernet Franc for its floral aromas and, more recently, Sauvignon
Blanc to offer a white wine. dry and fruity. The vast majority of Bordeaux wines are blended wines; the peculiarity of this ancestral vineyard. Thanks to his know-how, the winegrower combines the different wines from the grape varieties he has chosen and the selected plots: ideal proportions to create the specificity of his cuvées.
