Welcome to the heart of Provence, in a family vineyard of 35 hectares, where rosé, red and white wines are produced.
Domaine Saint Mitre offers two styles of wine under the AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation with, on the one hand, the gourmet CLOS MADON cuvées, in rosé and red, and on the other hand, the cuvée range “M” which is recognized for its delicacy and freshness. “M” for Mitre of course, for Martin and Millon which are the surnames of the owners.
Domaine Saint-Mitre is a 30 hectare family estate located in Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume, in the Var region. They make white, rosé and red wines under AOP “Coteaux Varois en Provence’ and IGP “Vins de Pays du Var”. The reds are from Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault or Merlot, the whites from Rolle and Ugni blanc mostly, and sometimes Viognier, Marselan or Chardonnay.
Farming practices: Sustainable. The soils are ploughed and sheeps come to the vineyards in the winter to eat the grass. Chemicals are used as little as possible.
