Carlos San Pedro has been making his own wines for more than 20 years. His trajectory begins even earlier, from his childhood at the hands of his father in the vineyard. When he decided to create Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza, his philosophy was completely clear: to focus on the land in order to fully understand and know each of his farms and the behavior of the grape varieties depending on the conditions of each year.
That is why the wines of Pujanza are made only with Tempranillo and Viura, autochthonous varieties that perfectly represent their origin and are notoriously influenced by the soil and climate. Hence, the vintage of each wine becomes a very representative data. During its passage through the winery, the essential thing is that the wine does not lose its connection with the vineyard from which it comes.
