Relatos Del Callejón is produced by Vinos De La Luz, in Mendoza, Argentina located in the Uco Valley.
The origin of the Fernández Núñez family’s viticultural tradition dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when in 1910, Galician emigrants Serafín Fernández and María Núñez left for Argentina in search of work . There they contributed their know-how as day laborers of planting, pruning and harvesting. In that land where “when a piece of bread fell, an ear of gold grew the next day,” these two Spaniards worked in everything until settling in Mendoza , in 1919, where the free access public lands of the foothills of the Andes, needed labor on the borders with Chile. Argentine sovereignty was then represented by these Galicians who saw their future in the vines. The place was the Uco Valley, where it was planted for the first time, the origin of Vinos de LA LUZ.
