Production Process
This blended malt begins with a carefully curated selection of malt whiskies — both domestic Japanese and internationally sourced — which are blended at peak flavor rather than fixed ratios. Following initial maturation in oak barrels, the whisky undergoes a secondary finish in Yoshino Sugi (Japanese cedar) casks, a wood renowned for its aromatic character and historical significance in Japan. The process uses natural spring water from the highlands of Soni Village to adjust proof and integrate the whisky’s components, and the spirit is bottled without chill filtration to retain maximum flavor complexity.
