Our Team

Alex Sianni has been working as a wine professional since the year 2000 and has made a commitment to working with small-farmed, family-owned, artisan wine producers. He has traveled in many parts of Europe, cultivating relationships with wine makers and bringing these wines and their stories back to the US. He’s previously taught the Introduction to Wine classes at universities while working as a wine consultant in Wilmington, Delaware. For 5 years he and his wife owned a small restaurant called De La Coeur Café where he regularly paired wines with five-course dinners. After a time living in Charlottesville, Virginia, Alexander worked in distribution as a wine salesperson and now happily covers the small state of Delaware with Vintage Imports.
