Attributes

An exquisitely elegant, perfumed wine. Dried hibiscus and alpine strawberry take the lead followed by dark cherry, dried cranberry and earthy sage tones. High acid fruit and great structure from oak tannins assist in creating wonderfully balanced wine. Drinking beautifully now and will continue to handsomely evolve for at least a decade.

Pinot Noir grape blend.
This wine contains allergens, sulfites.

The Estate

Founded in 1982, Au Bon Climat produces internationally-recognized Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc wine from grapes grown in California’s Santa Barbara County.

Wine Making

We hand harvest, ferment in small lots, perform daily manual punch downs, and age in François Frères French oak barrels for 8 months. This small barrel aging imparts depth and complexity to our Pinot Noir.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with tri-tip sandwiches and salsa, smash burgers, or even a salad with strawberry and mint.
