The nose shows complex aromas which are perfectly assembled black & red fruits like currant and raspberry. As it crosses the palate is very fleshy and creamy, with a nice tannin, which gives us an idea of the longevity of the wine.
Located in the village of Villalba de Duero in the Ribera del Duero appellation; the winery was built in 1999 with the adjacent 185 acres of vineyards planted in 2002 at an altitude of 2674 feet above sea level, in soil that is mostly calcerous clay and sand. Manually harvested, vinified in stainless steel tanks, with pre-fermentation cold maceration, followed by aging for nine months in French oak barrels.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, deer and venison dishes, or aged cheese.
