Aromas of pineapple, coconut rum, and toasted vanilla evolve into a lush entry of tropical fruit, which carries through the mid-palate with a long velvety tropical finish.
The story begins with our grandfather, Irv Bliss, whose passion for agriculture grew through his years of farming in Sonoma County. Irv grew pears, prunes, walnuts, and a large family garden just outside of Healdsburg, in Sonoma County, California.
Our 100% barrel-fermented Chardonnay comes entirely from our Bliss Ranch. The fruit was hand-picked, in the early morning followed by an 80% whole cluster press. This barrel-fermented Chardonnay was sur-lie aged — hand-stirred every two weeks — giving this wine its rich and creamy texture.
Pairs well with lobster based dishes, scallops, shrimp, creamy pasta, chicken, salads, and creamy cheeses.
