A very concentrated dry red wine, with very notable fruit aromas, full of nuances of fine woods and spices, a robust palate with firm, mature and polished tannins that give a long finish.
The Buil and Giné family returned to their winemaking roots in the rapidly evolving Priorat region in 1996 and since then have expanded into neighboring Montsant, as well as Rueda and Toro.
Our Tinta del Toro vines give between 2 and 3 bunches of grapes per vine. Harvested carefully. Double selection process is used to choose the bunches. Whole grapes are moved into 7,000-liter tanks after de-stemming without pressing. Temperature controlled fermentation, long maceration.
Pairs well with hearty stews and sauces. Beef, game and white meat. Exceptional with cured cheeses and fine hams.
