On the palate, flavors of citrus, apples and pears are balanced by fresh, lively acidity. This crisp, fresh wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, giving it acidity, balance, and a clean and persistent finish

The Estate

The name Ca’ Momi honors our roots. Our property in Veneto, Italy once belonged to Momi dea Bionda, a hardworking farmer who became a local legend for his obsessive devotion to his family, farm and vineyards. We share Momi’s values of authenticity, passion, loyalty, dedication and obsession with quality. We chose to pay homage to his legacy in the name of our Napa Valley winery. We proudly share our Italian heritage, and strive each day to honor these values within ourselves, in how we do business and how we make wine.

Wine Making

Harvest 2022 began almost two weeks earlier than usual. Grapes were night harvested, since cooler temperatures preserve both acidity and freshness of flavors as well as prevent the start of fermentation. Warmer summer temperatures and sustained highs, combined with a lack of rainfall, resulted in smaller grape cluster sizes and overall yield. The end result is a Sauvignon Blanc with depth, refreshing flavor and timeless style.
