Our Rosso di Napa Valley has aromas of ripe berries and baking spices. This wine has flavors of ripe berry, cherry, plum, and toasted spices. Aged for 6 months in French and American oak. The result is a wine with a balanced acidity, structured tannins and an elegant yet strong finish.
The name Ca’ Momi honors our roots. Our property in Veneto, Italy once belonged to Momi dea Bionda, a hardworking farmer who became a local legend for his obsessive devotion to his family, farm and vineyards. We share Momi’s values of authenticity, passion, loyalty, dedication and obsession with quality. We chose to pay homage to his legacy in the name of our Napa Valley winery. We proudly share our Italian heritage, and strive each day to honor these values within ourselves, in how we do business and how we make wine.
With a longer, warmer summer this harvest, the Rosso di Napa is a tapestry of bold and balanced flavors. The long, warm Napa Valley summer saw very few heat spikes, with foggy mornings setting the stage for charismatic and expressive wines. Sourcing fruit from selected AVAs in Napa Valley, the focus of Rosso is to create a robust, food-friendly wine that compliments a variety of dishes. A combination of French and American oak aging gives the Rosso an excellent balance. A refined Napa Valley classic at its finest.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, veal, and poultry dishes.
