This award-winning red, made from Grenache 90%, Mourvèdre 5% and Syrah 5% is matured without oak, is very complex and elegant with aromas of red currant, red cherries, black berries with spicy overtones such as lavender, thyme and rosemary. An excellent balance in the mouth, tannins are elegant and silky, the wine showing finesse and elegance.

The Estate

Created in 1925, the Cellier des Princes is the only cooperative cellar on the Chateauneuf du Pape area. They currently have 185 winegrowers.

Wine Making

This Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge wines are blends dominated by Grenache, with components of Mourvèdre, Syrah, and others, aged partly in large barrels or demi-muids. They tend to offer ripe red / dark fruit, spice, garrigue / herbal notes, pepper, and some warmth in the finish.
