Family business for several generations, Château Béchereau operates vineyards in three appellations of the “right bank” in the area of Libourne vineyards: Bordeaux, Montagne Saint-Émilion and Lalande de Pomerol. The total area of the vineyard is 25 hectares. Their Lalande de Pomerol is produced at Néac on a clay and sand Soils, this combination to ensure a harmonious combination of power and elegance. Their main variety is the merlot which represents almost 85% of our grape varieties and 7.5% of each Cabernet.

Château Béchereau has been a family property since the beginning of the 19th century. century. This vintage aged traditionally in stainless steel vats, the object of expressing our terroir as pleasantly as possible. The aging is done over eighteen months, with the aim of obtaining a good balance between the aromatic characters and the structure of the tannins.
