The wine has plenty of ripe fruit and generous tannins. The blackberry fruitiness and acidity are backed by a dry core that will allow this full-bodied wine to age.
The Château de Monrecueil is a Bordeaux Supérieur that is produced at the Château de Belcier, which is recognised as one of the best AOC Castillon – Côtes de Bordeaux.
There is a firm emphasis on fruit here. The wine is not aged in barrels and is immensely palatable, fleshy and well balanced, with an elegant label.
Pairs well with red meat like beef and venison based dishes.
