Located at the gates of Provence, near the famous village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, once a summer residence of the Popes established in Avignon, the Domaine des Chanssaud maintains the family tradition since 1826.
A third of the production of Châteauneuf du Pape red pass an aging year in casks. Then the wines, assembled, are bottled at the winery by a specialized company which guarantees quality and hygiene, and allowing precise control of operations. Bottles packed in boxes are then storedin an air-conditioned room where they remain until age marketing.
