This all estate, 100% hand harvested Cabernet Sauvignon is from a single vineyard in Cafayate. The nose shows blueberry and blackberry pie coated with powdered vanilla sugar and fig. The palate is nicely balanced with dark fruit and hints of leather and tobacco.
The Estate
El Porvenir was founded within the Calchaqui Valley in the town of Cafayate by the Romero-Marcuzzi family in 2000. Their first winery was founded in the late 1970’s in Tolombón, just a few miles from the town of Cafayate.
Wine Making
Sustainable farming methods were used to grow the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
