The colour of black cherries. Smells sweet-fruited, dark-fruited deep and rich. The black is lifted by a light minty note and lots of sweet spice. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and generous but has unexpected freshness to balance all this plush fruit and dark-fruit sweetness. The tannins are deep and firm but already supple, the whole this is succulent and a powerhouse of pleasure. Some chocolate on finish.
