Intense and bright red with violet hues with captivating spicy and floral notes. A wine unfolding aromas of black fruits, evoking notes of blueberries and blackberries, characteristic of this variety.  Superb structure, delicate tannins and a long, fresh, complex finish.

Malbec grape blend.

The Estate

Kaiken was established in 2002 by Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes, who crossed the Andes to pursue the potential of Argentina’s high-altitude vineyards. The Ultra range represents the winery’s premium tier, focusing on carefully selected vineyard sites that deliver concentration and depth. The winery emphasizes balance and varietal expression, combining modern techniques with respect for traditional winemaking.

Wine Making

Grapes are sourced from selected high-altitude vineyards across Mendoza, where significant day-to-night temperature shifts preserve acidity and enhance flavor development. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperatures to maintain fruit purity. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months to build complexity and integrate tannins. The style highlights richness, structure, and refined oak influence.

Food Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with grilled steak, braised beef, or roasted lamb. It also complements hearty dishes such as empanadas, barbecue, and aged cheeses.
