Vintage Description

The Chablis opens with bright aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and white flowers, accented by subtle notes of crushed stone and saline minerality. On the palate, it is crisp and focused, offering flavors of citrus, tart pear, and a chalky mineral backbone. Lively acidity drives the wine’s freshness and length. The texture is clean and linear with excellent tension. The finish is dry, precise, and refreshingly mineral.

The Estate

Madame Veuve Point is a traditional Burgundy négociant name focused on delivering classic, regionally expressive wines. The Chablis bottling highlights the appellation’s hallmark freshness and mineral character through careful vineyard sourcing and restrained cellar work. The style emphasizes purity, precision, and everyday drinkability.

Wine Making

Chardonnay grapes are sourced from select Chablis vineyards planted on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, known for imparting structure and minerality. Fermentation is conducted in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. The wine is aged briefly on fine lees to add subtle texture without oak influence. The result is a classic, terroir-driven Chablis.

Food Suggestions

This Chablis pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, and raw or lightly cooked seafood. Its acidity and minerality also complement grilled fish, sushi, and goat cheese. An excellent option for aperitif service or seafood-focused menus.
