Reviews

The Blend de Tintas has aromas of herbs and ripe berries intermixed with an earthy touch. It was a cool year and produced wines with good tension and a perfect, slow ripening. Both the palate and nose show that freshness, with acid berry aromas and nicely integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, refreshing, tasty and easy to drink.

Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, & Merlot grape blend.
This wine contains allergens, sulfites.

The Estate

José Millán’s “Mosquita Muerta Wines” project starts in 2010 at the family’s Los Toneles winery in Mendoza city with the goal of producing the very best blends Argentina can yield from the family’s 250 Has of high-elevation vineyards in Mendoza’s Uco Valley.

Wine Making

Grapes are hand-picked and collected in 15-kilogram (33-pound) bins. Each variety is harvested in distinct stages in the same estate barracks, resulting in wholly differentiated wine profiles.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with beef, pasta, lamb, and poultry dishes.
