The Rutherford Dust Sauvignon Blanc pours a soft lemon-yellow with a lime-green halo. On the nose, it reveals an elegant perfume of white peach, ruby grapefruit, lime zest, and a hint of fresh herbs — lively and aromatic. On the palate, expect bright citrus (grapefruit, lime), green apple, and tropical notes like hint of kiwi or passionfruit, along with a crisp mineral-driven backbone and clean finish. The wine’s acidity is refreshing yet balanced, giving it a clean, zesty mouthfeel and good drinkability.
Mark Neal is Napa Valley’s organic and Biodynamic® farming trailblazer and the founder and owner of Neal Family Vineyards. After purchase two other vineyards in Napa Valley starting at the age of 20, he stumbled on a unique property in the Howell Mountain AVA.
Neal Family grows the Sauvignon Blanc on their Rutherford Dust vineyards under certified-organic and regenerative farming methods. The 2024 vintage was harvested, gently pressed, then fermented at controlled low temperatures (standard for premium Napa whites) to preserve the delicate aromatics and crisp acidity. The wine is bottled early to capture freshness and aromatic vibrancy.
Pairs well with grilled prawns or shrimp, lemon-herb roasted chicken, ceviche, or raw oysters.
