The nose of the 2019 PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville, exudes aromas of juicy blackberry, dark plum, boysenberry, and muddled raspberries, blended with notes of cardamom, cinnamon, molasses, and sage to create a gorgeous silky entry. It’s beautifully structured with finely integrated, velvety tannin, and an exceptionally long finish.
Pumpjack Winery sits squarely in the heart of Napa Valley’s renowned Oakville region, surrounded by a 42-acre estate vineyard highly-regarded for the quality of its Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Estate grapes were cold soaked for 4-6 days to coax out more color while maintaining a velvety tannin. The grapes were then fermented up to a maximum temperature of 94°F.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, deer, venison, mature and hard cheese, and poultry.
