This rose is produced with Portuguese grape Touriga Nacional, from the estate Monteiro de Matos, and appears to the eye as a soft pink color. It greeets your nose with a fruity aromas with notes of currant, rassberries, and strawberries. It has an intense and persistent taste, with a soft and pleasant after-taste.

The Estate
“Quinta Monteiro de Matos” is a family fine winemaking company, located at Tejo Region, that started in the middle of XX century, by Antonio Monteiro de Matos. After two decades, Antonio Monteiro de Matos bought more land to plant more vineyards, in order to have production for the demands, that were increasing year after year.

Wine Making
This wine is produced from 100% Touriga Nacional, grown at the Monteiro de Matos estate, situated northeast of Lisbon. The soil is calcareous clay origin. From this limited production, only 9,000 bottles were produced and released.
