The Estate

The Ruby Donna Winery is owned by the Santero family, and is located in the picturesque village of Santo Stefano Belbo. While this area is quite a distance from the famous Asti region, Santo Stefano is located just west of Alba, near Monferrato,
Langhe and Roero, in the heart of Piedmont region. It is not entitled to the designation of DOCG afforded to Moscato D’Asti, but it is not nearly the price either. The quality is every bit as high, making this a great value. 

Wine Making

One of the most remarkable things about Muscat wines is that, while their aromas are readily identifiable, they are also unusual as grapes in that their flavor as a berry is mirrored by their flavor as a wine.
