This white wine presents brilliant hues of pale yellow and green. Fresh aromas of lemon, lemon custard, basil, and anise are complemented by a vanillin thread, from the element of subtle new French oak. Lemon and lime citrus flavors follow, with the essence of pear. The toasted oak qualities from the barrel maturation have encouraged a full rich mouthfeel, along with the subtle creaminess of the sur-lie maturation. This sauvignon blanc is crisp with rich flavor.

Wine Making

The result was an early harvest of exceptional quality and a very light yield, typical to these growing conditions. 2021 did not disappoint, creating wines with opulent aromatics, terrific volume and flavors with tremendous persistence. After achieving the desired flavors on the vine, the sauvignon blanc was harvested in the cool morning hours in an effort to preserve the delicate flavors.
