A wine with great finesse, structure, elegance, and complexity. Ruby red turning to garnet in color. On the nose, intense notes of withered roses and violets, raspberry, blackberry, and almond, followed by spicy hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, tobacco, and lightly toasted notes. Warm, full, and persistent on the palate with spicy and balsamic notes.
Tenuta Laramè is the agricultural estate of the Povero family. It embodies a single, contiguous vineyard area of 50 hectares, organically cultivated, on one of the highest hills of Roero, between Canale and Cisterna d’Asti.
Red wine produced from 100% Nebbiolo coming from the family’s oldest organic vineyards, which extend over a Roero hill where the geological and pedoclimatic conditions are the most suitable for a very sensitive vine such as Nebbiolo.
Pairs well with fondue, risotto, ravoli al plin, stew, Castelmagno gnocchi, roast red meats, hard cheeses such as mature Bra Duro.
