The Estate

LEGEND is owned by the international wine supplier The Wine Team Global, represented in the US by ViniMundi Wines Inc. LEGEND is produced in close cooperation with Castoro Cellars in Paso Robles, one of the leading organic producers in the region. The winery was established by husband-and-wife Niels and Bimmer Udsen in 1983 with the goal of producing worldclass wines from Paso Robles-appellation grapes.

Wine Making

A red wine vinification is employed with destemming and crushing to tank followed by warm fermentation and pumping over for 12 days then pressing. Free run and press fractions are combined and allowed to settle. The wines are racked onto American and French oak adjunct for aging.
