Vintage Description

Aromas of lime zest, green apple, and white peach are complemented by subtle floral and mineral notes. The palate reveals bright citrus flavors layered with hints of stone fruit and wet stone minerality. Light to medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, the wine is crisp and refreshing. The dry style enhances its precision and focus. The finish is clean, zesty, and persistent with lingering citrus and mineral notes.

The Estate

Trisaetum is a family-owned winery founded by James Frey, widely recognized for producing high-quality Riesling and Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The “Dry Coast Range” Riesling highlights fruit from the Yamhill-Carlton District, where marine sedimentary soils and a slightly warmer microclimate contribute to balance and structure. The winery emphasizes small-lot production and site-driven expression.

Wine Making

Grapes are harvested from select vineyards within the Yamhill-Carlton District to preserve natural acidity and aromatic intensity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures to maintain purity of fruit. The wine is produced in a dry style with minimal residual sugar. The overall approach highlights freshness, structure, and site expression.

Food Suggestions

Pairs beautifully with seafood such as oysters, shrimp, or grilled fish. It also complements Asian cuisine, spicy dishes, and fresh salads, making it highly versatile for a range of menu styles.
